Best known and common types of bets

• Final result bets or 1X2

This modality is based on the match result and is one of the easiest ways to bet. It is an excellent way to start in the world of sports betting since, with this modality, you can better understand their cost.

X = Tie

2 = Away win

A draw is for regular football matches that are not decided by playing overtime but end in a draw.

In this bet, you would not lose anything. If you bet on a victory and the result is a tie or a loss, you do not win anything.

• The double chance

These bets include two of the three possible endings. Thus, they allow you to develop more exciting strategies in safer bets.

It consists of betting on two possible outcomes: that team A wins or draws, that team B wins or draws, or that A or B wins without covering the tie.

You would win the bet if you guessed the match’s final result. And if the game has extra time, only the 90 regulation minutes will count.

• Draw no bet or DNB (Draw no bet)

As its name suggests, this type of bet does not consider the possibility of a tie. This means that if you make these bets and the result is a draw, your bet will be returned to you.

• Handicap

When a team in a match is considered the clear favorite over their rivals, handicap bets are valuable since they balance that noticeable difference and achieve equal conditions.

They are bets similar to predicting the final result of the match. Still, with a goal, handicap applied a priori to counteract, as we said, that perceived difference in the capabilities of both teams.

For such a bet to win, the team with the negative handicap must win with a margin greater than the established figure. Or, you must win or lose the team with the positive handicap with a margin less than the established figure.

• Totals

Total bets in football are another type of basic bet as an alternative to the bets above. They have nothing to do with who wins the match. Their objective is not to declare the winner of a specific match but to predict the result based on a variable. For example, any match variable can be quantified for total goals, points, etc.

Likewise, you can choose the “Over” or “Under” option to bet if the total of goals, points, or any value will be greater or less than the total that is previously estimated.

Although the variety in bets is wider and more varied, these are the most common.
