President Biden Nominated Two female Generals for Top Positions in the US military

President Joe Biden has nominated women for two top positions in the US military. These will be the second and third women in the United States to hold such a high position in the military. US Air Force General Jacqueline has been named head of the Transportation Command (US Transcom). General Jacqueline is the only four-star general in the US military. The Four-Star General is the highest-ranking general in the US Army.

Three-Star General Laura Richardson has also been nominated to lead Southern Command (Southcom). The affairs of the states of Central and Latin America, which are subordinate to South Com, are looked after. General Laura Richardson will later become the Four-Star General. President Biden announced the nominations for both women on International Women’s Day on Monday. The event was also addressed by Vice President Kamala Harris and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.
