Fighting Corona: World faces a shortage of 6 million nurses

More than half of the world’s health care professionals are nurses And in the wake of the Coronavirus epidemic, the world is facing a shortage of 6 million nurses. According to the World Health Organization, Nursing Now and the International Council of Nurses, “Importance of nurses in the countries affected by the Coronavirus outbreak has increased”.

Fighting Corona

According to the World Health Organization report, there are currently 880,000 nurses serving in the health sector. Nurses play a leading role in the war against Cod 19. The World Health Organization has called on countries to invest in the nursing sector. Provide nurses education and maximum employment opportunities for them.
