The Professional Fighters League delivered a night of high-level competition in Sioux Falls on Sunday, headlined by a commanding performance from Logan Storley at the Sanford Pentagon.
Competing in front of a home crowd where he remains unbeaten, Storley secured a unanimous decision victory over Florim Zendeli, the 2024 PFL Europe welterweight champion. Storley, a former interim Bellator lightweight world champion, set the pace early with dominant wrestling, overwhelming his opponent in the opening round.
The turning point came when Zendeli was penalised for two cage grabs, resulting in a two-point deduction by referee Kevan MacDonald. The penalty proved decisive, as Storley maintained control throughout the bout, with all three judges scoring it 30-25 in his favour. The victory strengthens his position in the welterweight division, currently led by champion Ramazan Kuramagomedov, and places him firmly in contention for a title shot.
In the co-main event, Gadzhi Rabadanov showcased his grappling dominance against Latvia’s Alex Chizov. Rabadanov, the 2024 PFL lightweight world champion, controlled the fight from the outset, recording seven takedowns and dictating the pace throughout.
Chizov, the reigning PFL Europe lightweight champion, attempted to establish his striking but struggled to break free from Rabadanov’s relentless pressure. By the end of the contest, Rabadanov’s control and positioning had clearly separated the fighters, earning him a convincing win and reinforcing his standing among the division’s elite.
Elsewhere on the card, England’s Simeon Powell secured a notable victory over Argentina’s Emiliano Sordi. Despite facing a more experienced opponent and former PFL champion, Powell absorbed early pressure before turning the tide and dropping Sordi en route to a statement win.
In the heavyweight division, Sergey Bilostenniy defeated Renan Ferreira after a back-and-forth contest. Bilostenniy knocked Ferreira down early and later sealed the victory in the third round with a decisive right hook after establishing control on the ground.
The main card opened with a closely contested bout between Magomed Magomedov and Leandro Higo. After two evenly matched rounds, Magomedov pulled ahead in the third to claim a decision win on two of the judges’ scorecards.
The event marked a strong return to Sioux Falls for the PFL, with several fighters strengthening their positions in their respective divisions and setting up potential title challenges in the months ahead.
