The Falcons’ offense was led by Gregori Cano, who went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in the third inning, giving Mid East an early lead. Munenori Kawasaki contributed with a 2-for-4 performance, scoring a run and hitting a one-run double that sparked the Falcons’ four-run rally in the eighth inning.
Jake Hjelle added a 1-for-3 outing with an RBI, which accounted for the Falcons’ third run. Two more runs were produced by Federico Celli, who drove in both after consecutive walks with the Money Ball in play, rounding out the scoring for Mid East.
For Mumbai, Chase Gearing was charged with the loss after 3.1 innings of relief, during which he allowed four hits, three earned runs, and struck out two batters. Raul Shah led the Cobras’ offense with a 1-for-3 performance and a solo home run, which accounted for the team’s only run.
The Falcons combined effective pitching and timely hitting to maintain control of the game. Yabuta’s early innings kept the Cobras off balance, while Yoshioka’s flawless relief work shut down any comeback attempt. Mid East’s ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities in the eighth inning proved decisive.
