Doha, Qatar – His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, held talks on Monday with Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam, who is visiting the country.
The meeting focused on bolstering the cooperation between Qatar and Brunei, exploring avenues to deepen their partnership across various sectors. Both leaders emphasized the importance of furthering the strong bilateral relations that have been cultivated under the guidance of the leadership of both nations.
During the discussions, the two ministers highlighted the shared interests and mutual benefits of their collaboration, underlining the existing synergy between the two states. They reiterated their commitment to expanding cooperation in areas of mutual significance and addressing global and regional issues of common concern.
“The ties between Qatar and Brunei are marked by robust collaboration and integration in numerous fields, reflecting the shared visions and strategies of the leaders of our countries,” noted Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman.
Brunei’s Second Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed appreciation for Qatar’s initiatives in fostering international dialogue and cooperation, and he affirmed Brunei’s intention to work closely with Qatar on enhancing partnerships that align with both countries’ long-term objectives.
The visit also served as an opportunity to discuss strategies for economic and cultural exchanges, strengthening diplomatic frameworks, and advancing joint efforts in global diplomacy.
