Flight QR107: A Bumpy Ride

  • The Aircraft: The flight, operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, was en route from Doha to Dublin.
  • Turbulence Strikes: While flying over Turkey, the aircraft experienced sudden and intense turbulence.
  • Injuries Reported: A total of 12 individuals—6 passengers and 6 crew members—sustained injuries during the turbulent episode.
  • Emergency Response: Upon landing at Dublin Airport shortly before 1 p.m. local time, emergency services, including airport police and the fire and rescue department, were immediately deployed to assist the injured.
