‘Made in Pakistan’ Agricultural Drones to fights against Locust attacks

Islamabad, Pakistan: Ministry of Science & Technology unveiled the locally developed drones to fight the locust attack which is threatening the food industry in many countries including Pakistan. Ministry of Science and Technology signed an agreement with ABM-SATUMA, for the production and agriculture use of the drones locally to deal with the locust crisis.

“The ministry is now focusing on precision farming with the introduction of drone technology to enhance agricultural productivity,” Minister of Science & technology Ch. Fawad Hussain said, encouraging agritech startups. These drones have sensors which detect which part of the crop is diseased and need spray, The ability to fully monitor the field will be a new revolution in agriculture.
