2nd Death Anniversary of Youngest Microsoft Professional Arfa Karim

Today 14 January is 2nd death anniversary of Pakistani Girl Arfa Abdul Karim Randhawa( ارفع کریم رندهاوا‎ )‎ who was  2 February 1995  and died at 16 on 14 January 2012). She was earn a big name and awards in this younger age.  She became youngest Microsoft Certified Professional(MCP) when she get this title in 2004 at age of 9 years. She kept this title until 2008.

She got various National awards and represents Pakistan at international forums. She won President’s Award for Pride of Performance, Salaam Pakistan Youth Award and Fatimah Jinnah Gold Medal in the field of Science and Technology, presented by the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

In 2011 when she was studying in Lahore in her 2nd year of A Level she suffer with severe brain damaged. Her treatment was provided my Military Hospitals and Bill Gates offered her treatment in USA but No one can regain her. At Last she was died in 14 January 2012 in Hospital.

After 3 Days nn 15 January 2012, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif named Lahore Technology Park as Arfa Software Technology Park.
