The World’s Most Powerful Women In Tech 2016

The World’s Most Powerful Women In Tech 2016

November 9, 2016

Although we are in an era where gender equality is common knowledge, it is still unnerving that women are getting ahead in an industry previously believed to be championed and dominated by men, like technology. But some great women actually did. There are powerful women who climbed the top ranks in their organizations and made significant difference on their success.

These women did not only gain top positions, the likes of VP, SVP, COO, CEO, and CFO, in leading tech companies. They also delivered impressive performances that took Facebook, Youtube, Yahoo, Google Maps, IBM, and Hewlett-Packard on top of their games. They had been critical to the success of those companies, driving millions of dollars in revenue and rising above the demands of the digital age

The list of 2016’s most powerful women in tech is a concrete proof that women are no longer hiding behind the shadows of men. They are definitely up for the challenge and can even get ahead. They are considered reliable, even in industries that were previously dominated by and attributed to men. They are given weighty positions and they deliver.

If you want to know more about these women and their actual achievements, you can read the details in this delightful graphical illustration:
