Miss Swann, an IT Systems Manager, who lives in Leicester, said: ‘It is amazing to think my triplets were born three years apart. She did not start trying for a family until she was 40. Had eggs fertilized using IVF with some put in her womb and others frozen.
George was born three years before his sister Lilah and brother Noah. But all three siblings were conceived by Ms Swann at the same time. Baby George arrived into the world weighing a healthy 8Ib8 at Leicester Royal Infirmary, then in May last year, Miss Swann decided to try for another baby.
She underwent another course of IVF treatment and this time she had two embryos put back in again.
Again her pregnancy went smoothly and she delivered both the twins naturally at Leicester Royal Infirmary in January, Noah weighing 6Ib4 and Lilah weighing 5Ib13.
