Real Women Empowerment?

Real Women Empowerment?

We youth mostly like to stay updated with what’s happening around the globe also especially in Pakistan. Among most of the trend-setting initiatives one is “Woman Empowerment”, one is at the government level; a lot of laws are being passed and measures are taken to let women be financially independent and also help them strive and thrive without depending upon anyone.

women empowerment

Mostly what issues are observed their counterparts or even employers don’t offer them good salaries, good positions or even conditioning their growth with different unethical demands which lead to frustrations and high burnout rates.

What we need these days proper education of employers as well especially men who can understand what women are exactly looking for and also proper implementation of laws to save women from any kind of emotional or financial burnout at work.

There are laws related to harassment and rapes but nobody talks about laws for the financial stability of women. We are still talking about what rape punishment should be there? Rapist should be hanged, executed or jailed? But we haven’t progressed towards financial rape which women mostly go through in all organizations and everywhere. Still, there are pay discriminations, fewer chances of work, how is she dressed? And all…

The challenges are faced mostly in the implementation side of laws and reforms related to women empowerment where men or employers are not ready to let women be financially free or undependable or they still desire to control women financially which is leading women of society towards financial crisis.

Constant financial abuse in the name of business practice or market pattern can lead to severe health conditions or even life crisis which needs to be stopped! This exploitation in order to get any benefit from women can be really dangerous for her personal life? This is becoming a habit of the society or unethical employers to pay low or even insignificant amount which can lead her to definitely the acceptance of wrong practices of the society and later on eventually hurting their even personal lives. It has to stop!

Employers need to understand one thing, if you give a deserving candidate what she deserves then she doesn’t have to choose wrong directions, wrong paths even take wrong favors or have to go through tough or difficult paths. Let them have a stable and equal chance of work and thrive both professionally and financially.

“Women empowerment” without it’s actual implementation or bringing reforms to make things right and bring equality is just a label with no serious implementation or even consideration. I have myself observing this situation for quite some time where employers especially take these things as a matter of pride to make women in the corporate world vulnerable & financially weak not because they are incompetent or less qualified because they are women and they demand equality.
