Partly Cloudy Skies and Chance of Rain Expected in UAE on Sunday

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast partly cloudy to cloudy weather across the UAE on Sunday, particularly over the islands and northern areas. The day is expected to bring light to moderate winds, which may freshen at times, causing blowing dust in some regions.

Wind speeds are predicted to range between 10 and 25 km/h, with occasional gusts reaching up to 40 km/h. The NCM has also indicated a chance of rainfall during the day.

Daytime temperatures are expected to peak at 26ºC in some parts of the country. In Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the maximum temperature is forecast to reach 22ºC, while minimum temperatures may drop to 16ºC in Abu Dhabi and 17ºC in Dubai. In interior areas like Gasyoura, temperatures could plunge to as low as 7ºC.

The meteorological authority has issued a yellow alert for rough seas in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. This advisory remains in effect until 7:50 PM on Sunday, urging residents and seafarers to exercise caution.

Humidity levels are expected to rise overnight and into Monday morning, particularly in internal areas. Humidity levels in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will vary between 35% and 80%, with a possibility of fog or mist formation in certain areas.

Sea conditions are forecast to be moderate to rough at times, particularly in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, due to the prevailing weather patterns.

The NCM advises residents to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and take necessary precautions, especially when venturing outdoors during windy conditions or near coastal areas.
