Israeli authorities have arrested several individuals in connection with Thursday night’s bus bombings in Tel Aviv, though their identities remain undisclosed due to a court-issued gag order, according to local media reports.

Haaretz newspaper reported that two Israelis were taken into custody overnight and transferred to the Shin Bet security agency for interrogation. While specific roles and details are under wraps, Israeli Channel 12 revealed that one suspect is accused of transporting a perpetrator to Bat Yam, the Tel Aviv suburb where the explosions occurred.

Meanwhile, Ynet, the digital platform of Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, stated on Friday that three suspects were detained for allegedly aiding in planting explosive devices on buses in the Tel Aviv area. The report also indicated that some of the detainees were identified as Israeli Jews.

The explosions, which took place on several buses in Bat Yam, were reported by Israeli police, who are investigating the possibility of a planned attack. The police acknowledged receiving multiple reports of blasts on buses, which led to fires breaking out. Israeli media, including the official broadcasting authority and Yedioth Ahronoth, confirmed two explosions in separate locations.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the motives and circumstances surrounding the incident. The recent arrests mark a significant step in the probe as Israeli security forces seek to prevent further attacks and ensure public safety. However, with the suspects’ identities withheld, questions remain regarding their backgrounds and the extent of their involvement.
