How to get rid of dandruff

Dandruff which is very common problem and due to this problem hair fall also takes place. Dandruff is a bend which is causing old skin cells on the scalp to cluster into hideous shaving .Almost half of the population suffers from this problem once in life.  It is in fact a placid shape of seborrhea dermatitis. In this state a skin is marked by large yellow scales, irritation and redness of scalp or of other part of the skin. The dandruff is linked with a flaking, dry scalp which is in fact caused by surplus oiliness. The culprit is a common toadstool which is called malassezia which breed on everyone and it nourish on the oil from scalp. There are many ways by which we can get rid of dandruff. The first thing that we can use is:

Antifungal

These includes Nizoral, Selsun Blue,Head & Shoulder Classic. These antifugals helped in slowing down the growth of yeast which is causing scaling and flaking.

Coal tar

Polytar, Denorex, Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo. Coal tar which is the active component in all these products will help in slowing the skin cell turnover and as well as works as anti-inflammatory.

Salicylic acid

More over you can use salicylic acid which includes Sebcur, Sebulex, this acid boasts a keratolytic negotiator which facilitates to release and remove scales.

There are many other methods by which you can get rid of dandruff:

Switch products regularly

It means that you should use products alternating between two to three types like you use head & shoulder one day so the other day you should use nizoral.

Leave shampoo on long enough to do its job

It means to say that we should leave shampoo for 5 to 10 min or more for the intensive treatment and you will get good results.

A two-step process

This is more effective in fighting the dandruff that you first use shampoo and then conditioner your hair only to the ends to avoid greasier scalp.
