In a coordinated rescue mission, the UAE’s National Search and Rescue Centre, in partnership with Ras Al Khaimah Police, successfully evacuated a man who sustained severe injuries after a fall from a mountain in Ras Al Khaimah. The authority confirmed the rescue operation in a statement, detailing the rapid response following an emergency alert regarding the incident.

Upon receiving the distress call, the search and rescue team was promptly dispatched to the rugged location to conduct a medical evacuation. The injured man was airlifted from the mountain and taken directly to Al Saqr Hospital for necessary treatment. The operation was documented with visuals shared on the authority’s social media platforms, showcasing the collaborative efforts of emergency responders in ensuring the man’s swift transportation to medical care.

This rescue operation adds to a series of emergency response missions carried out in recent weeks across the UAE. Earlier in November, six Emirati citizens sustained injuries in a major four-vehicle collision on Emirates Road in Sharjah. The severity of the accident required some of the injured to be airlifted to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.

In another incident in October, Sharjah Police responded to a motorbike accident in the desert that left three Emiratis injured to varying degrees. Emergency teams were able to locate and rescue the individuals, transporting them to safety and providing necessary medical support.

Additional rescue efforts were noted this month, including an October 6 mission in which the UAE’s National Centre for Search and Rescue collaborated with the National Guard and Sharjah Police to assist an Emirati man injured in a car accident. Five days later, a 58-year-old Pakistani man was rescued after his vehicle overturned, leaving him with critical injuries. The man was airlifted to a Dubai hospital for intensive treatment.

The UAE’s emergency response teams, equipped with air support and specialized rescue units, have demonstrated their readiness to tackle challenging rescue missions across the nation, from mountainous regions to desert terrain and major roadways. The National Search and Rescue Centre and local police forces continue to prioritize swift response times and advanced rescue operations to enhance public safety across the Emirates.

Through its ongoing commitment to safety and rapid response, the UAE’s emergency services provide critical aid to both residents and visitors alike, often sharing live updates and educational content on safety measures to raise public awareness and preparedness for unforeseen incidents.
