Dusty and Partly Cloudy Weather Expected in UAE on Thursday

Residents in the UAE can expect dusty and partly cloudy conditions on Thursday, January 23, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The forecast also predicts increased humidity and a chance of mist formation in some areas, particularly overnight and into Friday morning.

The NCM stated that the humidity is likely to rise over internal regions, with a higher probability of mist formation in western parts of the country. These conditions could impact visibility, especially during the early hours of Friday.

Winds are expected to be light to moderate, blowing in an easterly to northeasterly direction at speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h. However, gusts could reach up to 40 km/h, contributing to dusty conditions and further reducing horizontal visibility, particularly in eastern areas.

For maritime conditions, the sea is forecast to remain moderate in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, according to the NCM’s weather bulletin.

Residents are advised to take precautions during periods of reduced visibility and to stay updated with the latest weather information. Drivers are urged to exercise caution, especially in areas where dust or mist may affect road conditions.

The UAE’s weather authorities continue to monitor conditions and provide timely updates to ensure public safety.
