Pakistan’s New Visa Policy

The Government of Pakistan announced a new visa policy in January 2019 to promote tourism in Pakistan.

Today as the first step, visa on arrival has started for 5 countries (marked in Green) including:
– China
– Malaysia
– Turkey
– UAE
– UK

Required Documents for Visa:
1- Photograph
2- Passport
3- Invitation Letter by the sponsor or hotel booking details in case of individual tourist
4- Invitation Letter in case of a group by the tour operator designated by the department of tourist services

Conclusion: So now tourists can travel on their own but need confirmed hotel booking.

50 other countries are marked in BLUE for which visa on arrival will start very soon.
