Pakistan for decades and years have been fighting so hard with terrorism, many political parties tried to eliminate terrorism and improvise image of Pakistan on international platforms but couldn’t do it due to internal politics, paid religious parties and tanzeems and some parties who are just having objective to destabilize peaceful situation of Pakistan and make it a “No go area” for foreigners.
Different governments tried to work on this area very seriously and take Pakistan on a track where Pakistan can become the best place for tourism and attract international investments and foreigners and after years of fight and hard work Pakistan has been awarded as “Best tourist destination in 2021”.
As a Pakistani, I know Pakistan has got a lot of beautiful places and natural untapped treasure which needs to be still explored and can beat most developed countries’ “sightseeing places”. Pakistan has got beautiful seashores, the coastal line starts from Karachi to Baluchistan meets the Arabian sea, these are Gaddani, Gwadar, Jiwani, Ormara, Kund Malir, Sonmiani, and Astola Islands.
Pakistan has the world’s most amazing, beautiful, and wild mountains and lakes along with oceans. These mountains are covered with lush greenery, snow; they have got valleys and all these valleys are filled with ancient civilization.
Top most beautiful valleys of Pakistan are, Swat valley which is completely bright, shinning, and green also accompanied by lots of ponds and river “Swat”. Swat valley is just a starter, then you can go on to Kalam town where you will find small villages filled with green mountains and pounds. Then there are “Hunza” valley, “Passu” village, and if you move on all the way to Karakorum highway you will find various iconic and magnificent views which can take your breath away and in one hour you will reach Gilgit Baltistan.
Gilgit is another magical world that has stories and history attached, people say in Passu Village in that massive huge rock carving there was a presence of civilization since 2000 BC. But after few centuries this area became inhabitants by Tibetans, who preceded these Balti people. There is a place in Gilgit Baltistan called “Kargah Buddah” which is approx. 6 miles away from Gilgit which is an archeological site and has carved an image of large standing “Buddah”, it reflects the presence of Buddhism in that part of Pakistan.
After that there’s a Phander Lake, situated in Phander Village, it’s like heaven or a dream on earth, teal-colored lake is famous for its silence and light-green trees surrounding it adding colors in the natural painting. Standing with this lake is crazily beautiful and worth seeing and still undiscovered by many tourists as they only reach to more popular Attabad Lake.
On the other side, Pakistan has got most beautiful and civilized international cities Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. Karachi is the business and financial hub of Pakistan having seaports, airbase and highways connecting to interior Sindh which has it’s on Indus civilization and other highways connect it with Punjab. One route takes to Gawadar (Baluchistan) which is an emerging port and attracting international investment and attention. Karachi has the busiest life and containing largest portion of the country’s population, having many international banks, manufacturing units, multinational companies, restaurants, cinemas, and malls. Above all Karachi is linked to Baluchistan which has a beautiful coastal line and seashores.
Then Lahore an old and ancient city which has border connected to India, other than this, this city have old historic places like Mosques, forts, food streets, malls, and river. Lahore is also famous for good eating and shopping place where mostly people have hobby of dine out and enjoy life.
Next comes Islamabad which is the capital of Pakistan and developed especially for bureaucrats, businessmen, foreigners, and elite people. This city has its own charm and beauty, it’s surrounded by green mountains, beautiful restaurants among those mountains, malls, cinemas, and connecting to northern areas of Pakistan.
In a nutshell, even if I keep on writing, my words won’t do justice to the beauty Pakistan has got. In order to explore, you need to visit it once and enjoy people’s hospitality, welcoming nature, the life of cities and also the life of tourist places. Hope to see you guys there 😊
