Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and Sub-National Governance (SNG) Programme presented some of the leading ICT innovations for better governance in health and education sectors in Punjab Innovation Showcase 2016.
Punjab Innovation Showcase 2016 was organised by PITB in collaboration with Sub-National Governance Programme (SNG) at Arfa Software Technology Park, Lahore. 
Speakers presented an overview on tech-driven initiatives that are revolutionising the delivery of basic services in the Punjab province, while adopting technology trends to make them responsive, effective and accessible.
An exclusive session with influential guest speakers was held prior to the exhibition. Chairman PITB Dr Umar Saif, during his address, gave an insight on ICT interventions that are bringing reforms in the respective sectors across Punjab while gaining global popularity.
Ben French, Provincial Representative and Head of DFID Lahore appreciated the efforts of PITB and SNG for bringing together an interesting and informative event.
Hamid Yaqoob Shiekh and Usman Khan, Representatives from SNG and Prof Dr Kamal Munir of LUMS were also among the prestigious guest speakers in the event.
