Microsoft is unveiling what it calls the next frontier of digital innovation — Agentic systems — at GITEX GLOBAL 2025 in Dubai, highlighting how autonomous digital tools are transforming industries, government operations, and community services.
In collaboration with 37 partners, Microsoft is demonstrating how these advanced systems can plan, reason, and act independently while working alongside humans to achieve shared goals. The company said the technology enables organisations to translate insights into autonomous actions, offering new levels of efficiency and decision-making.
Amr Kamel, General Manager of Microsoft UAE, described the initiative as a pivotal step in the nation’s digital evolution. “Agentic systems represent the next phase of digital transformation — one that empowers organisations to move from insight to action autonomously,” he said. “We’re proud to be working hand in hand with our partners and customers across the UAE to build this new era responsibly.”
He added that innovation must always be paired with accountability. “As these technologies become part of daily life, Microsoft is ensuring that every advancement is built on trust, privacy, and security so that progress benefits everyone,” Kamel said.
At its GITEX pavilion, Microsoft is showcasing interactive demonstrations, real-world case studies, and sessions focused on responsible and scalable digital solutions across the UAE and broader region. The company’s “Experience Zone” highlights its latest Copilot tools and autonomous agents through hands-on demonstrations, partner showcases, and live discussions.
Visitors can also explore creative attractions such as the Xbox Zone and a Glambot activation, designed to blend technology with entertainment and user engagement.
The announcement comes as the UAE strengthens its position as a global hub for digital innovation. Microsoft reaffirmed its support for national programmes, including the UAE’s National Skills initiative, which aims to train 100,000 government professionals and one million citizens in emerging technologies.
With cloud datacentres in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Microsoft said it remains committed to supporting the country’s growth through secure, enterprise-grade infrastructure that adheres to local regulations.
The company also emphasised its long-term collaboration with regional partners, including G42, to develop sovereign cloud and digital frameworks aligned with the UAE’s values and priorities.
“Through innovation, investment in local talent, and a trusted cloud foundation, we’re helping shape the future — built in the UAE, for the world,” Kamel concluded.
