Dublin, May 31, 2024 — In a significant step towards promoting bilateral cooperation in the IT and ITes sector, Pakistan has launched a branding campaign in Ireland, positioning itself as a tech destination. The initiative is a joint effort by the Ministry of IT, Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), and Tech Destination Pakistan.

Dublin Tech Summit (DTS) 2024: A Perfect Platform

The branding campaign was strategically timed to coincide with Europe’s most exciting tech festival, the Dublin Tech Summit (DTS) 2024. Held on May 29-30, 2024, at the RDS Dublin, DTS provided an ideal platform for Pakistan to showcase its technological prowess and foster collaboration with Irish counterparts.

Key Objectives of the Campaign

  1. Showcasing Pakistan’s Tech Ecosystem: The campaign aims to highlight Pakistan’s vibrant tech ecosystem, including its skilled workforce, innovative startups, and thriving IT companies. By positioning Pakistan as a tech hub, the campaign seeks to attract foreign investment and partnerships.
  2. Promoting Collaboration: Through targeted events, workshops, and networking sessions, the campaign encourages collaboration between Pakistani and Irish tech communities. It emphasizes knowledge exchange, joint ventures, and cross-border projects.
  3. Investment Opportunities: Ireland, known for its tech-friendly policies and supportive environment, offers excellent investment opportunities. The campaign aims to attract Irish investors to explore Pakistan’s growing tech sector.
