Huawei Cloud, in partnership with the Center for Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE) and NAUATECH, hosted the 2025 Huawei Cloud Developer Conference in Riyadh, bringing together developers, entrepreneurs, and technology leaders to accelerate Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation under Vision 2030.
Held at CODE’s headquarters, the event showcased Huawei Cloud’s expanding suite of cloud-native and AI-driven development tools aimed at empowering local talent and strengthening the Kingdom’s digital infrastructure.
A key highlight of the conference was Huawei’s focus on developer enablement through specialised training programmes and global certifications. Attendees were introduced to several flagship initiatives, including the Huawei Cloud Developer Program (HCDP), the Huawei Cloud Startup Program, and the Huawei Cloud Certified Developer for AI (HCCDX). These offerings combine technical skill-building, mentorship, and international credentials to support developers in building scalable, innovative solutions.
Huawei also reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the Saudi market with the announcement of plans to expand its cloud services from 90 to over 200 offerings. The company is strengthening its local presence with three new Availability Zones in the Riyadh Region. Notably, Huawei Cloud has received “Class C” certification from Saudi Arabia’s Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST), the highest rating for cloud platforms in the country, affirming its compliance with top-tier security, performance, and reliability standards.
The conference featured live demonstrations of Huawei’s latest platforms, including ModelArts, a powerful AI development platform that reduces AI deployment timelines from months to just days. Already in use across smart cities, digital campuses, and virtual human technologies, ModelArts is central to Huawei’s push for real-world AI implementation in the Kingdom.
Huawei also introduced CodeArts, a unified DevSecOps platform that supports secure application development directly in the cloud. With support for over 20 programming languages, integrated code scanning, and deployment tools, CodeArts is positioned as a key solution for enterprises and startups migrating to cloud-based environments.
Real-world success stories shared by partners such as Systems Arabia, FanRuan, Dyna.AI, and NAS Solutions demonstrated the tangible benefits of Huawei Cloud’s AI-powered platforms in helping local companies scale operations and accelerate digital innovation.
As Saudi Arabia continues to evolve into a global digital economy, Huawei’s growing investment in infrastructure, talent development, and local partnerships marks a significant contribution. The 2025 Developer Conference stands as a milestone in fostering a dynamic tech ecosystem, with Saudi developers playing a central role in shaping the Kingdom’s digital future.
