Google has officially rolled out Veo 3, its latest video generation model, now accessible to all Google AI Pro subscribers. The new tool, integrated within the Gemini app, enables users to convert written prompts into high-quality, audio-enhanced videos—marking a significant advancement in AI-driven content creation.
First introduced at Google I/O in May, Veo 3 allows users to generate eight-second custom videos at 720p resolution using simple text descriptions. Each video includes synchronized audio, dialogue, and music, supporting a wide range of applications for creators, developers, and businesses aiming to scale their content output with artificial intelligence.
A standout feature of Veo 3 is its support for native audio generation. Users can add sound effects, ambient noise, and spoken dialogue with notable precision, enhancing the realism of AI-generated scenes. The model also leads the market in physics simulation and visual fidelity, according to Google, offering detailed renderings and lifelike movement.
In line with Google’s push for ethical AI development, all content created through Veo 3 includes a SynthID watermark—a secure digital identifier developed to help distinguish AI-generated material. Additionally, a visible watermark is applied to all videos except those made using Flow, Google’s new platform designed specifically for professional AI filmmakers. Only Ultra-tier members of Flow are able to produce watermark-free videos.
To further promote transparency, Google has launched the SynthID Detector, currently available to a limited group of testers. Broader access to this detection tool is expected in the near future, as part of Google’s efforts to set industry standards around AI media authentication.
“Veo 3 represents our most advanced step yet in democratizing video creation through generative AI,” a Google spokesperson said. “By combining high-fidelity visuals with native audio capabilities, we are opening the door for creators of all sizes to build immersive content with unprecedented ease.”
With the launch of Veo 3, Google positions itself firmly in the competitive landscape of generative media tools, targeting professionals across digital marketing, filmmaking, education, and gaming. Google AI Pro subscribers can begin using the new features immediately through the Gemini app.
