Global technology firm Globant has officially inaugurated its Middle East regional headquarters in Riyadh, marking a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion and reinforcing its commitment to Saudi Arabia’s growing digital economy.
The new headquarters, located in Building 1.15 of the King Abdullah Financial District, will serve as a Center of Excellence for artificial intelligence (AI), creativity, and digital transformation. Less than three years after first entering the Middle East market, Globant’s latest investment reflects its strategic focus on the region’s vibrant technology landscape and rising demand for cutting-edge digital solutions.
“Reinvention is Globant’s core identity,” said Martín Migoya, Co-founder and CEO of Globant. “With our new headquarters in Riyadh, we’re honoured to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s reinvention journey. The Kingdom’s young and dynamic talent pool offers tremendous potential to drive innovation and shape the future of its digital economy.”
Globant plans to leverage the Riyadh hub as a springboard for exporting digital expertise and talent to its global network. The facility will also support the company’s growing portfolio of AI-driven solutions for industries including media, financial services, travel, and gaming.
The company’s regional presence has seen strong growth, with revenues in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific rising 84.4% year-on-year in Q1 2025. Globant has already established partnerships with several major regional “giga-projects,” and aims to accelerate its role in Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation.
“This new hub allows us to better support our regional clients with advanced capabilities in AI, data, and cloud,” said Federico Pienovi, CEO and CBO of New Markets at Globant. “It also positions Saudi Arabia as a global exporter of tech innovation and talent.”
Globant’s talent development strategy includes training local professionals in advanced AI workflows, with the goal of cultivating a new generation of AI engineers and architects. The Riyadh office will play a key role in these efforts.
Adding a creative dimension to its operations, the new headquarters also houses Globant’s third global “Playground” — an immersive experience center featuring interactive AI and sports-themed installations aimed at fostering innovation and collaboration.
Mamdouh Aldoubayan, Globant’s Managing Director for MENA, highlighted the strategic timing of the launch: “Riyadh’s thriving tech ecosystem presents an ideal platform for us to contribute meaningfully to Vision 2030 and help shape Saudi Arabia’s emergence as a global technology hub.”
As regional IT spending continues to surge — with Gartner projecting a 7.4% rise to $230.7 billion in 2025 — Globant’s Riyadh launch positions the company at the forefront of the Kingdom’s digital future.
