Future of EV cars in Pakistan?

Recently we have seen an increase in the sell of EV car technology and rise demand in Pakistan, this trend was introduced last year which looked like too good to be true but now it looks like EV car has future in Pakistan. Does EV car have a future in Pakistan considering all ground-level realities and challenges?

EV cars in Pakistan

EV car which government is trying to introduce basically to reduce fuel cost, bring more environment friendly and more technologically advanced cars. As per official news this year four EV cars will be seen in Pakistan which are Audi e-tron, MG ZS EV, Zotye Cloud 100 and BMW iX.

The topmost manufacturers are Audi Pakistan and China’s Huawei Technologies who are launching fully electronic, compact size luxury crossover SUV cars and Huawei Technologies will make intelligent cars having their own nameplates. Huawei is not offering just an operating system rather end to end presence producing EV cars.

What is the future of EV cars in Pakistan? Currently, Pakistan is facing inflation which has caused price hikes of petrol and other fuels. Above all so much pollution and increase demand for cars make a good future for EV cars in Pakistan as these cars are available at very reasonable prices and built absolutely based on an environment-friendly model.

These cars are completely energy vehicles and they include pure batteries which make them absolutely electric vehicles. They have plug-in hybrid and hydrogen fuel cells which make them environment friendly due to this model it is expected to rise in the demand for electric cars.

So now if we talk about its practicality and how successful this model would work? Yeah, it looks like in Pakistan there’s high demand of EV cars as youth are mostly pro-technology and intelligent cars and also increase in fuel prices every year due to natural and international oil prices making it difficult to afford luxury and high-end cars in this scenario EV cars introduced by Audi, Zotye, BMW etc would cover that part also they are not much expensive as well.

Now coming to the running cost and maintenance so GOP is also establishing EV cars filling stations, where these cars can be fast charged, besides these cars, are also having the option of the solar system where they have features like daytime running lights, parking sensors, in-car infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Apparently, these cars have a future in Pakistan as people are willing to buy and invest in this experience and they want to have the luxury of all high-end cars which are environment friendly plus affordable as well.
