I have mostly worked as an employee and I have observed different working culture and environment varies organization to organization and also people to people. It’s been a common practice to look for what your employer is looking for? Ignoring either employer is expecting something immoral or completely unethical nobody cares about this dilemma.
I have worked from medium to large size organization, in different sectors and also lived in a different part of the worlds as well. Work culture definitely differs from culture to culture but above all baseline is “we all are human beings” if the employer starts acting kid or childish then there is no way to make them happy. Every time they would want more and more, more unreasonable demands and unreasonable expectations.
In this culture, we are forgetting what an employee is really looking for? A passionate and enthusiastic employee looks for growth, good culture, financial and emotional security, and stability. No one likes to live on the edge where they are controlled through fears, bullying, insensitive attitude, or even bad behaviors. Since, no one in this world really useless or unproductive, it’s the eye of the jeweler who cannot identify potential, talent, or skills.
The problem is employers play on the desperation of employees and their needs; they get their kicks when an employee begs for job security or cry for their needs in front of them. How disgusting this has become? How bad it is turning to? Where we humans think like God and getting our kicks by hurting people and exploiting their needs?
It’s not about employers happiness, they will never be happy if they like to enjoy shows of watching people helpless or even in pain, it’s a demonic or evil demand of controlling employees. I have myself seen such behavior of employers where their “I don’t care” attitude and constantly wrong advice by people around them has led them to act selfishly or even very insensitively forgetting their basic responsibilities or even basic values and principles.
Acting insensitive is not a matter of pride, it is not something to be cherishing or worth memorizing, it is a bad thing. This happens when society forgets to maintain a balance between desire and needs. Employers are demanding more and more whereas employees just to make employers happy doing whatever they can do to please them forgetting this fact at both ends there are human beings who feel the same way, who live under the same sky, who wants happiness and a good time of their life.
This happens where the system doesn’t have checks and balances over employers and they are exempted from all kinds of abuse they do to employees and create issues for someone who tries to tell them that this isn’t right. When will this change? If you are an employer and reading, Please think about it… it’s the voice of many employees.
