Equal human rights, without jeopardizing anyone’s right

Equal human rights, without jeopardizing anyone’s right

Human rights are basically a benchmark that provides standard rights, quality of rights, protects the dignity and integrity of all human beings. Protection on the human rights of all the members of society, basically oversees, manages, controls, and provides equal rights regardless of their status, cast, breed, and race.

There has to be a balance between all human rights policies and procedures if only one community is given more rights on others there would be negative feelings, if one group is taking everything again there would be a grievance.

Equal human rights

Just and equity is very important when comes to maintaining balance between all members of society be it citizens or foreigners. Usually, foreigners in any society are more privileged as they have special talent and skills which usually locals do not have, similarly the comfort level locals have in their home country foreigners do not have as they through out their lives catching up the cultural norms, ideologies, colors, tolerance levels, policies, systems and mindsets of locals.

Providing equal rights to all human beings and developing a welfare state is a challenge, which is not easy when a group of people is obsessed with promoting locals when in actuality it takes years to come up with the expertise, skills set, talent and experience level of international talent. Promoting local talent is appreciated but it has to be evaluated where there’s a need of fitting in local talents and hiring fresh graduates on entry-level jobs.

Now comes basic facilities, basic facilities should be given to all individuals be it local or foreigners, no one should be deprived from basic things which includes housing means accommodation, food, medical and health care, education, entertainment, freedom of speech, and equal chances of getting hired then society becomes inclusive and everyone’s rights are intact and balanced.

One group, one race or one gender if promoted everywhere then there won’t be just and equity, again I covered in my previous articles it has to been seen that which job, what needs and what demands are fulfilled by which group in most satisfying level.

Human rights often come with a few characteristics;

  • Universality
  • Indivisibility
  • Interdependence and interrelatedness
  • Equality and non-discrimination
  • Inclusion and participation by all members of society
  • Accountability
  • Rule of law

Conclusively, human rights are universal according to the united nation charter and council, they are homogenous yet indivisible as well depend upon the profession of the individual regardless of their social status or family name. The rights of every individual are interdependent or interrelated to every other individual for example rights of Mr. A is a duty of Mr. B or vice versa, that’s how just and equity comes.

As per Human right’s definition of the united nation’s council and charter every individual has the right to work and choose whatever profession they want to choose, they have the right to earn remuneration, has equal rights to get hired depending upon skills set and qualification criteria, every individual has right to be paid just and fairly regardless of social pressure or market unethical tactics, every individual has right of social protection and state should insure it’s social security, every individual can move to any country or become national as per criteria and individual’s desire and everyone has right to join trade unions for the protection of their basic rights (Reference to Universal Declaration of Human rights UDHR).
