Under the patronage of HRH Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, the Ministry of Culture’s efforts have successfully restored 56 Heritage Buildings in the Historical Jeddah area, supported by a generous contribution of 50 million Riyals from His Highness.
✔️ This project is part of the Prince’s profound commitment to preserving the Kingdom’s historical and cultural heritage, contributing to the goals of Vision 2030, and highlighting the rich Arab and Islamic essence of the region.
✔️ Historical Jeddah, a site encompassing over 600 heritage buildings, 36 mosques, and five main historical markets, is reclaiming its glory, representing the grandeur of Islamic history and the pilgrimage route.
✔️ The project was carried out by Saudi hands, with five local companies undertaking the work under the supervision of experts in historical buildings, embodying the unique architectural identity of Historical Jeddah.
✔️ The launch of the “Reviving Historical Jeddah” project in 2021 reflects Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s vision to develop this area into a vibrant cultural and business center that attracts visitors and entrepreneurs, improving quality of life and enhancing urban aspects.
