🔅 Alstom France has signed a landmark contract with the Royal Commission for AlUla, marking a significant project in Saudi Arabia. This initiative is set to revolutionize the region’s transport system.

AlUla Tram Project:

🔅 The AlUla Tram Network

🔸️ The tram will connect several stations, linking key locations such as AlUla International Airport, Hegra, AlUla Oasis, and Madain Saleh.
🔸️ The project is expected to feature modern, eco-friendly trams.

🔅 Objectives and Benefits

🔸️ Aims to enhance tourism and provide sustainable transport solutions.
🔸️ Focuses on improving local life quality and creating job opportunities.

🔅 Investment in AlUla’s Regeneration

In April 2021, the Royal Commission for AlUla (hashtag#RCU) unveiled an investment plan to regenerate Al-Ula, with a significant portion allocated for infrastructure development, including the tram and renewable power generation.

🔅 Eco-Friendly and Tourist-Friendly Design

🔸️ The tram is planned to be integrated into an eco-friendly public transport network, enhancing the tourist experience in AlUla’s unique natural setting.
