DOHA, Qatar – The organizing committee of the Seatrade Maritime Qatar Conference and Exhibition has unveiled an impressive lineup of sponsors for the event, set to take place on February 4-5, 2025, at the Sheraton Doha Hotel and Resort. Held under the patronage of Minister of Transport H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Thani, this landmark maritime gathering aims to position Qatar as a global hub for maritime innovation and trade.

Organized by Mwani Qatar and Seatrade Maritime, and hosted by the Ministry of Transport (MOT), the conference will spotlight topics such as sustainable shipping, digitization, LNG’s role in the energy transition, and financing environmentally friendly maritime fleets. Najla Al Jaber, head of the Road Affairs Department at MOT, emphasized the conference’s alignment with Qatar’s strategic vision for advancing its maritime sector. “The event will explore critical themes, including clean energy, digitization, and strategic partnerships, fostering global collaboration and innovation to strengthen Qatar’s maritime and logistics sectors,” she said.
Hamad Ali Al-Ansari, Marketing and PR Manager at Mwani Qatar and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, hailed the event as a milestone in Qatar’s maritime progress. “This inaugural edition underscores Qatar’s commitment to becoming a leading regional trade and logistics hub, in line with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030,” he noted.
