To restore public confidence, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson administered the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine developed by Oxford University.
It is believed that many European countries have temporarily stopped using the vaccine following complaints about AstraZeneca. Boris Johnson, 56, appealed to citizens to get vaccinated after he has vaccinated himself. On the other hand, the Prime Minister of France has also get the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine to restore the confidence of his country’s citizens.
The British government has increased the interval between the first and second doses of the corona vaccine from three weeks to twelve weeks. Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and Indonesia have also resumed the use of the British AstraZeneca vaccine.
