Pak-Uzbek presidents agree to promote science and technology ties

The presidents of Pakistan and Uzbekistan have agreed to promote science and technology ties. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirzayev met with President Arif Alavi, two leaders discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest.

During the talks, the two presidents agreed to promote science and technology ties and reaffirmed their commitment to achieving common goals of economic development at all levels.  Pak-Uzbek relations are linked with mutual respect, culture and traditions, adding that the ground connection with the Trans-Afghan Railway project would be further strengthened.
