More than 94,000 individuals were involved in supporting this year’s Hajj operations, delivering services across a wide range of sectors and operational sites, according to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
The large-scale mobilization reflects a coordinated institutional effort that brings together government bodies, service agencies, and technology platforms to provide a seamless and safe pilgrimage experience for millions of Muslims from around the world.
As reported by the Saudi Press Agency, the initiative is part of the ministry’s strategic plan to elevate service standards through an integrated operational framework managed by multiple specialized centers. The system blends human resources with modern technologies, all aimed at enhancing the overall experience of pilgrims during the sacred journey.
Rigorous Inspections to Maintain Standards
The Ministry’s Compliance Center played a key role during the Hajj season, conducting more than 70,000 field inspections across accommodations, pilgrim camps, central kitchens, and other essential facilities. These inspections were aimed at ensuring that all service providers adhered to established health, safety, and operational standards.
Nusuk Care Delivers Hundreds of Thousands of Services
One of the cornerstone initiatives this season was the ‘Nusuk Care’ program, which provided over 845,000 direct services to pilgrims. These included medical and psychological support, language assistance, and humanitarian aid. Field teams operated around the clock to address the diverse needs of pilgrims throughout the Hajj.
Volunteers Play Vital Role
In addition to official staff, more than 3,000 volunteers were deployed across six key service areas, working at over 107 contact points. Their contributions ranged from guiding pilgrims to supporting government services, ensuring that the spiritual journey was both smooth and memorable.
These combined efforts highlight the scale and sophistication of Saudi Arabia’s planning and commitment to improving the Hajj experience. They also reflect the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes the kingdom’s leadership in Islamic services and its dedication to hosting pilgrims with the highest standards of care, safety, and efficiency.
As the 2025 Hajj season concludes, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah emphasized its ongoing commitment to refining services and integrating innovative solutions to further enhance future pilgrimages.
