It has been chosen by UAE’s Cyber Security Council to present to the Organisation of The Islamic Cooperation – Computer Emergency Response Teams (OIC-CERT) on cybersecurity monitoring and threat mitigation.

Dubai, UAE, March 9th, 2021 – LogRhythm, the company powering today’s security operations centers (SOCs), has been chosen by the United Arab Emirates Cyber Security Council to provide advice and recommendations for cybersecurity monitoring and threat mitigation. LogRhythm shared its cybersecurity insights with the Organisation of The Islamic Cooperation – Computer Emergency Response Teams (OIC-CERT). Cyber Security Council selected LogRhythm for its technology leadership and vision for the future of cybersecurity.

A virtual event was held on February 23, 2021 to benefit the OIC-CERT’s more than 40 members from across Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Founded in 2005, OIC-CERT’s mission is to develop cybersecurity capabilities to mitigate cyber threats by leveraging global collaboration. Representatives from Cyber Security Council and LogRhythm provided keynote speeches followed by a technical session led by LogRhythm’s security engineers based in Dubai, covering next-generation SOCs. The session included a live demo on detecting and responding to cybersecurity threats in real-time.

Dohaji, Vice President, India, Middle East, Turkey & Africa (IMETA) at LogRhythm. “We are grateful for this opportunity and want to thank Cyber Security Council for recognizing our work locally in the Middle East and around the world.”

Cyber Security Council initiatives aim to ensure society’s safety and enhance happiness and wellbeing. Its sits on the board of the OIC-CERT and is the driver behind the United Arab Emirates Computer Emergency Response Team (aeCERT) initiative.
