The Spanish Space Tourism company “Halo Space” has announced its plans to establish a base in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to launch future outer space trips.
🔹️According to the company’s statement, Saudi Arabia will be where it plans to test its Prototype Capsule No. 2 at 32 kilometers above the Earth’s surface.
🔹️The statement also mentioned that the sixth trial flights will be from the Kingdom, starting in June of the following year, and four bases will be established worldwide, including one in Saudi Arabia and another in the United States.
🔹️According to officials at the space tourism company, the upcoming test in Saudi Arabia is very important, as it will validate the integrated operation of all vital systems, after which tourist flights to outer space at the edge of the Earth will be launched in 2026.
🔹️These flights are expected to offer a 360-degree panoramic view of Earth from the edge of space, with the cost per person estimated to be approximately $200,000 dollars.
🔹️Saudi Arabia is considered an essential base for space flights at a time when the country is heavily investing to advance in the space race.
