Firdous Ashiq Awan replaced by Asim Saleem Bajwa, Shibli Faraz appointed Information Minister

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has removed Special Assistant for Information Firdous Ashiq Awan while Senator Shibli Faraz, Leader of the House in the Senate, has been made Federal Minister for Information. Asim Saleem Bajwa has been appointed Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information in place of Dr. Firdous Ashiq. Asim Saleem Bajwa is currently the head of the Pakistan-China Economic Corridor Authority  In the past, he has also been the Director-General of the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR).
