Facebook founder and his wife Priscilla Chan  named joint top US philanthropists for 2013 for donation of 18 million Facebook shares and total $970m (£590m) the largest in the US in 2013 to a Silicon Valley foundation, american biggest Charity.
Philanthropists of previous years was Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and his wife Melinda, $3.3bn they made in 2004.
