Emirates has announced plans to introduce a fourth daily flight between Dubai and London Gatwick starting February 8, 2026, further strengthening its footprint in the UK. The new service, flight EK069/070, will be operated by the airline’s latest Airbus A350, featuring enhanced interiors and next-generation technology across Business, Premium Economy, and Economy classes.
According to the Dubai Media Office, the move will increase Emirates’ total daily services to London to 12 flights across Gatwick, Heathrow, and Stansted airports. The expansion aims to offer travellers greater flexibility and connectivity between the UAE and the UK.
Flight EK069 will depart Dubai at 17:05 and arrive at London Gatwick at 20:50. The return leg, EK070, is scheduled to leave Gatwick at 23:55 and reach Dubai at 11:00 the next morning. The timing of the new flight is designed to appeal to both business and leisure travellers, providing the option of a late departure from Dubai or early morning arrival in the emirate to maximise time on the ground.
The A350-900 aircraft used for the route will feature a three-class layout with 32 lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 28 Premium Economy seats, and 238 Economy seats. Premium cabins will include amenities such as wireless charging in Business Class, digital inflight menus, and electric window blinds with the signature Emirates Ghaf tree motif. All passengers will have access to Emirates’ award-winning ICE entertainment system.
London Gatwick will be the second UK airport after Edinburgh to welcome Emirates’ new Airbus A350s. With the new addition, the airline’s operations in the UK will expand to 140 weekly flights across eight cities: London Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.
The increased capacity aligns with growing demand for travel between the UK and the UAE, as well as onward connections across Emirates’ global network. Other destinations already served by the A350 include Mumbai, Istanbul, Muscat, Edinburgh, and Amman.
Tickets for the new service are now available for booking through Emirates’ official website, mobile app, call centres, travel agents, and retail outlets.
