Dubai based company delivers innovative air to water solutions.

Dubai – In the quest to achieve greater water sustainability, Mayee Water, a Dubai based company is hoping to pioneer this movement by providing innovate air to water technology solutions to everyday consumers in the U.A.E.

Mayee Water supplies dispensers that create pure, fresh, mineralized drinking water directly from the air. Utilizing state of the art air-to water technology Mayee provides a sustainable chemical free dispenser alternative that provides a viable supply of drinking water whilst simultaneously purifying and dehumidifying the air in peoples’ homes.

Traditionally obtaining viable sources of water in the U.A.E has been achieved by two main methods i.e. desalination and access to naturally occurring groundwater. Regarding the former the U.A.E is currently investing in new desalination plants in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Umm Al Quwain to the amount of approximately $2,billion. In terms of the U.A.E market the primary method to access water for private water consumption has been by bottled water (both branded and via water coolers) and recent studies/statistics have estimated that the average UAE resident uses approximately 450 bottles per year. In the face of such mass figures of consumption there is a growing consensus to prosper forward whilst maintaining all the elements/safe practices of sustainability and the future of water sustainability is no exception.  This secondary mass consumption of plastic to access drinking water has seen initiatives arise such as the ‘Dubai Can’ initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai in an attempt to combat this negative by product.

When compared to traditional methods of purchasing water via plastic bottles, Mayee contains none of the unwanted chemicals found in bottled water, such as chloride, fluoride and sodium.  Due to its complete absence from exposure to plastic it poses zero risk of BPA and/or phthalate exposure often associated with bottled water concerns. It has a 10x lower TDS (Total Dissolvable Solids) score than bottled water and 60x lower score than tap water, greatly reducing the incidence of unwanted particles such as metals and ions. In addition the slightly Alkaline PH level reduces the acid in the bloodstream, leaving consumers with more energy whilst improving their metabolism and digestion.

In terms of direct consumer benefits there are no exceeding budget concerns as a result of varying consumption levels and reflexively no interrupted supplies. Physical space benefits due to no bottles (no more lifting and storing of physical boxes). Free maintenance and easy monthly payments that require no elaborate contracts or long term commitments.

Mark Boyes, Co-Founder of Mayee stated  ‘Our mission is to change the way companies view their drinkable water supply and educate the businesses of UAE on

how Air-to-Water technology works, why it’s a big part of the future of the world’s drinkable water supply and how it can help reduce their carbon footprint.

Our immediate goal is to make it easy, convenient and affordable for people of the UAE to choose Mayee Air-to-Water technology. As the popularity of our technology grows, our long-term goal is to expand our service worldwide and look back and feel we made a difference”.
