New Year’s Resolutions often get a bad reputation, mainly because people find it so challenging to stick to them. However, when handled the right way, they can help motivate you to make significant shifts in your life and lifestyle.

The most common New Year’s Resolutions tend to revolve around weight loss and health. After all, everyone can take steps to live a healthier and more balanced life, whether that means moving your body more regularly or getting started on the best cleanse for weight loss.

If this is the year you want to make your health and wellness intentions a reality, read on for the essential steps to reach your weight loss goals in the New Year.

1. Create a plan of action.

While most people head into the New Year with honest ambitions to achieve their goals, the vast majority of them fail – not due to lack of will, but lack of a plan.
