Herself – An Emerging Effort in Pakistan to empower HER

Pakistan making some decent moves in technology and entrepreneurship from last few years which started from Plan9, PlanX, Information Technology University and lots of other project. There is a recent move for Female empowerment in Technology and entrepreneurship.

Herself is an initiative for women to realize, embrace and achieve their potential. Increase the participation of women in leadership and workforce. The project aims to achieve its objective through a series of IT based trainings and workshops for women populous of Pakistan which will allow these women to use freelancing, a powerful self-sustaining tool of today.

In the rapidly changing world of ours, the traditional obstacles to women pursuing their dreams are gradually fading away; Information Technology has emerged as the key enabler for breaking down these barriers and empowering women to excel in all walks of life.

Herself aims to help Pakistani women realise their dreams and provide them with a voice in the global discourse by helping them actualise their true potential and contribute to the socio-political and economic development of the country. More importantly, Herself strives to educate women and empower them to make best use of their skills while dealing with the socio-economic constraints that exist, thus gradually reforming the societal paradigm.
