Netflix is an online channel which is promoting the online streaming of shows, seasons and many documentary movies. Netflix is an online database of all new stuff and that stuff as well which viewers are no longer watching which were blockbusters of their time. Big production houses or even new producers promote their artwork through this channel before even their movies or seasons are promoted in cinema. 

Especially in lockdown seasons, this Netflix was promoted a lot and people watched their favorite shows from all genres and the engaging crowd from all races of life which could be housewives, kids, college-goers, teen agers and office-going people. 

Netflix is playing a very important role in our lives plus it’s available on small to big gadgets, no doubt it’s an easy and superb medium to promote movies, seasons and documentaries produced by large to small producers but it has its own positive and negative points.

When it comes to the business world, Netflix has globally 203.66 million users which are more than any online channel has, its biggest competitors are Amazon prime and Disney plus, even Amazon has half its users as compared to Netflix. It goes without saying that Netflix is a gateway for small production houses and even for those who wanted to promote their artwork at very reasonable prices plus to great extent, it has given individual and also households reach to entertainment rather of standing in ques for buying tickets of any new moving coming up in the cinema and also if people wanted to watch old stuff they didn’t know where to find that. 

But this Netflix is penetrating different generations, as per official data available 70% of subscribers are from Generation Z, 65% are from Millennials, 54% are from Gen X and 39% are from Boomers. Generation Z is the future generation which is still maturing and being raised and matured generation is millennials, the basic drawback of Netflix is it has given reach to all subscribers to all kinds of stuff available from history to classic, drama to movie, comics to adult stuff. 

Remotes of televisions are in the hand of anyone, kids and teenagers are watching all kinds of stuff so the basic fear is no matter how useful, amazing, and entertaining Netflix is it is still infiltrating adult stuff into the minds of kids and teenagers which is not right. 

Since Netflix isn’t censoring any of its content so It’s the responsibility of local entertainment authorities to keep check and balance on what stuff available on Netflix and they should develop some control check or mechanism for families buying this account or any censor board should be in place.
