New York: Government of the USA changed the rules for foreigner students to study there. According to new rules, international students will now be able to stay three years after their completing study to train themselves professionally for employment.
Students of science, technology, engineering and mathematics from all HEIs will get benefits of these rules changes. This extension will help fresh graduates to get proper professional expertise to meet the employers requirements.
According to the new rules, “a STEM OPT student would not replace a full- or part-time, temporary or permanent US worker,” and that the salary offered would “be commensurate” to American workers.
According to previous rules, Students studying in USA apply for a visa known as H-1B, given by lottery and capped at 65,000 with 20,000 reserved for those with advanced degrees.
