London School of Economics PhD scholarships are available for four years and cover full fees and an annual stipend of £ 18,000. They are available to UK, EU and international students who conduct research in any LSE discipline, with annual renewal subject to satisfactory academic performance.
These awards will be awarded solely on the basis of excellent academic merit and research potential. This is related both to his previous academic record and to an evaluation of his probable aptitude to complete a doctorate in the chosen subject in the allotted time.
Scholarships include a requirement that academics contribute to their department as part of their research training, in the form of teaching or other work, generally from year two onwards.
How to Apply
Academic departments nominate students to be considered by a school panel for all doctoral funding opportunities for which they may be eligible. There is no separate application for any of these scholarships.
