More than 40 Saudi technology companies are taking part in GITEX GLOBAL 2025 in Dubai, underscoring the Kingdom’s commitment to expanding its non-oil exports and accelerating its digital transformation under Vision 2030.
The Saudi Export Development Authority (Saudi Exports) is leading the delegation under the “Saudi Technology” banner at the five-day event, which runs from October 13 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Participating companies represent sectors including telecommunications, information technology, and digital services, alongside several government bodies and innovation agencies.
GITEX GLOBAL — one of the world’s largest technology gatherings — features over 6,800 exhibitors, 2,000 startups, and participants from more than 180 countries, according to the Emirates News Agency. The event provides a key platform for international collaboration, investment, and knowledge exchange in the fast-evolving technology landscape.
Saudi Exports said the Kingdom’s strong participation “comes as an extension of its efforts to enhance the presence of national companies in global markets and expand the scope of their exports in the growing technical sectors.” The pavilion serves as a hub for connecting major Saudi technology firms with global partners, investors, and government representatives.
The showcased innovations highlight Saudi Arabia’s rapid progress in telecommunications, cloud computing, and digital services. The initiative also aligns with Vision 2030’s goal of diversifying the economy and positioning Saudi enterprises as significant players in global technology supply chains.
“This participation strengthens the Kingdom’s ambition to lead in digital innovation and contribute more effectively to global markets,” Saudi Exports noted.
This year’s GITEX edition places strong emphasis on the intersection of technology, economic policy, and global strategy. Opening the conference, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdulla Bin Touq Al-Marri addressed the theme “The Race Beyond Innovation: Geopolitics and the Global Economic Reset,” emphasizing how innovation-driven growth remains central to regional development strategies.
Other global leaders — including Ekaterina Zaharieva of the European Commission and Evan Solomon, Canada’s Minister for Digital Innovation — took part in discussions exploring the role of emerging technologies as critical economic infrastructure and the growing influence of deep-tech ecosystems.
Saudi Arabia’s presence at GITEX demonstrates its ambition to become a regional technology powerhouse and a major exporter of digital solutions. The participation of more than 40 firms showcases the depth of innovation emerging from the Kingdom and its readiness to compete on the world stage.
