PITB working on 236 IT-initiatives, Dr Umar Saif says

Lahore, Pakistan: Chairman PITB Dr Umar Saif acquainted the Director DFID Joanna Reid with prominent projects of PITB including Dengue Monitoring, e-Vaccination, Disease Surveillance Program and others. He said that PITB is committed to facilitate police, law, taxation and excise, agriculture in fact all and every government department with technology.

During her first visit to Lahore, Director DFID Joanna Reid visited Chairman PITB Dr. Umar Saif to get acquainted with ICT interventions by PITB. Dr. Umar Saif shared the success story of e-Governance initiatives by PITB in various fields of education, health, citizen facilitation, law and order enforcements. Accompanied by DFID Provincial Representative Ben French, Joanna Reid lauded the efforts of PITB under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Umar Saif.
