Saudi Arabia’s Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, known as Monsha’at, has signed a memorandum of understanding with LinkedIn to accelerate the development of high-growth companies across the Kingdom. The agreement was finalized during the Biban 2025 Forum, held from November 5 to 8 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center under the theme “A Global Destination for Opportunities.”
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the partnership focuses on supporting high-potential businesses by promoting knowledge exchange, conducting specialized training programs, and enhancing managerial capabilities to strengthen competitiveness across multiple sectors.
Through this collaboration, Monsha’at and LinkedIn aim to advance Saudi Arabia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by using LinkedIn’s global platform to support talent acquisition and professional development. The initiative is designed to help local enterprises attract skilled professionals, enhance leadership efficiency, and build a workforce capable of driving sustainable growth.
The memorandum was signed by Abdulrahman Al-Ismail, General Manager of High-Growth Enterprises at Monsha’at, and Arda Atalay, Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa at LinkedIn. Both parties highlighted the importance of building partnerships that align with national economic goals and promote digital innovation.
Al-Ismail said the agreement represents a significant step in Monsha’at’s efforts to empower entrepreneurs and provide them with the resources needed to succeed in a competitive global economy. “This partnership with LinkedIn will create new pathways for Saudi businesses to enhance their capabilities and connect with international markets,” he noted.
Atalay described Saudi Arabia as one of the most promising markets for professional development and entrepreneurship. “Our collaboration with Monsha’at underscores LinkedIn’s commitment to supporting economic diversification and helping businesses in the Kingdom access global talent networks,” he said.
The agreement aligns with Monsha’at’s broader mission to strengthen the contribution of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to Saudi Arabia’s gross domestic product in line with Vision 2030. The authority continues to forge partnerships with international technology and business leaders to equip entrepreneurs with advanced tools and knowledge.
By expanding access to digital learning and professional networking, Monsha’at aims to foster a more resilient and innovative SME sector capable of competing globally. The partnership with LinkedIn is expected to create new opportunities for skill development, leadership training, and business expansion, supporting the Kingdom’s goal of positioning SMEs as a central pillar of its economic transformation.
